Inside Look: Features
This section of the Borfski Press Magazine contains two interview-style articles written by our very own Shawn Hatfield: Editor and Founder of The Borfski Press. The first is an in-depth conversation with a great local band, Jake and the Burtones, and is full of information about the band’s style, how they formed, where they play, and more than a few laughs.
The second article tells the story of Bazaar Records: a little record store located in Purcellville, Virginia, operated by music lover, businessman, father, and all-around awesome dude Jamie Hochmuth. Check out the article to learn more about Jamie, his vinyl, and what it is like to run a record shop in a small town.
We are so excited to share the stories of a few incredible people from our own hometown, and we look forward to hopefully getting to learn about some other local happenings in the U.S. and beyond in the submissions for the next issue! We’d love the features section of the magazine grow!
